Rad je objavljen u posebnom izdanju \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/journal\/agriculture\/special_issues\/B81ZD93873\">Greens\u2014Biofortification for Improved Nutritional Quality\u201c<\/a> me\u0111unarodnog znanstvenog \u010dasopisa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/journal\/agriculture\">Agriculture <\/a>(Q1, IF = 3,6.<\/p><p>Rad donosi rezultate istra\u017eivanja utjecaja biofortifikacije selenom na \u010detiri vrste mikrozelenja kupusnja\u010da: brokulu, korabicu, pak choi i klj. Cilj istra\u017eivanja bio je ispitati kako razli\u010dite koncentracije selena utje\u010du na fotosintetsku u\u010dinkovitost, antioksidativni odgovor i metaboli\u010dke procese u mladim biljkama.<\/p><p>Rezultati su pokazali da selen mo\u017ee zna\u010dajno pobolj\u0161ati fiziolo\u0161ko stanje biljaka, no intenzitet odgovora ovisi o vrsti. Uo\u010dene su promjene u fotosintetskoj aktivnosti, antioksidativnom kapacitetu te sastavu sekundarnih metabolita, \u0161to potvr\u0111uje va\u017enost odabira odgovaraju\u0107e vrste i koncentracije selena u postupcima biofortifikacije.<\/p><p>Dobiveni rezultati predstavljaju vrijedan doprinos razumijevanju mehanizama djelovanja selena u biljkama te otvaraju mogu\u0107nosti razvoja funkcionalne hrane oboga\u0107ene esencijalnim mikroelementima. Istovremeno, istra\u017eivanje doprinosi ostvarivanju ciljeva projekta NanoBioRem usmjerenih na razvoj inovativnih i odr\u017eivih pristupa u poljoprivredi i biotehnologiji.<\/p><p>Objava ovog rada potvr\u0111uje uspje\u0161nost istra\u017eiva\u010dkih aktivnosti koje se provode na Odjelu za biologiju te doprinosi me\u0111unarodnoj vidljivosti projekta NanoBioRem i njegovih znanstvenih
